I am an anthropologist, a writer and marketer with 6+ years of experience helping SaaS companies grow. I started my own marketing company in 2012 when I stumbled upon Amsterdam’s thriving startup scene. Working with startups took me by surprise. I discovered that I could apply my skills as an anthropologist to help companies understand consumer behavior. I had a unique understanding of cultural dynamics, which also allowed me to thrive in international teams. Moreover, I found that I could leverage my storytelling expertise and research skills to make products resonate more with potential customers.
Today, I spend most of my time writing content, running growth experiments and making sure marketing operations run smoothly. I work primarily for online marketplaces and B2B software companies and am currently based in Uruguay. When I’m not behind my computer, I’m usually making pottery. If you’re curious about my pottery, check out my Instagram profile!

AIMMS is a forward thinking platform provider democratizing the use of analytics. The company embraced Holacracy in late 2016 and I've had the privilege of participating in that transition. I work part-time at AIMMS, and am primarily responsible for coordinating online marketing and communications activities. I produce content, ranging from blog posts and press releases to research papers and videos. I also manage the company's email marketing and nurturing programs as well as social media accounts. I have served twice as the secretary of the Marketing Circle.

I founded Chirppoint straight out of university to provide freelance online marketing services. I focus on product marketing and content creation for startups and scale-ups in the SaaS industry. Current and past clients include ProRail, 3D Hubs, Peecho, ORTEC, myTomorrows, The LOEY Awards and more. Some highlights: As marketer for the LOEY Awards, a prestigious award for online entrepreneurs in the Netherlands, I revamped the organization's website and boosted their social media presence. In the second year of our collaboration, I also managed their PR and got them coverage in all major news sites in the Netherlands. As a content writer for 3D Hubs, I developed a series of blogs called "Maker Tales" which helped to engage 3D Hubs' enthusiastic community and resulted in coverage on sites like Make Magazine and Fast Company.
March 2012- November 2015
Selected by Wired as one of Europe's Hottest Startups in 2013, Peecho offers print on demand services for publishers and artists. As Peecho's marketer, I was in charge of a wide range of activities but focused mainly on content production for their blog, email newsletters and community building on social media. I helped the company successfully roll out new product offerings and tell compelling stories about its users, resulting in media coverage in global sites like The Economist and The Next Web.
